1N's Postcards are on the way!!

February 15, 2019

What a final day in 1N!

We have been very busy completing our topic on the United Kingdom’s countries and capital cities.

After learning all about the four countries that make up the United Kingdom, we also looked at the four seas that surround our islands and the capital cities of each country.

Today we spent the day planning, writing, designing and drawing our postcards. We pretended we have been to one of the UK’s capital cities.

Find out which one your child ‘visited’ when your postcard arrive through your letter box!

FACT! Did you know?

In 1801 all of Ireland was part of the UK, but in 1922 Ireland left the UK, Northern Ireland did not and has remained.

Thank you 1N for a busy, hard working and fun half term.

First day back is Tuesday 26th February.
