We have had a fantastic start to our P.E lessons in Reception.
Over the past few weeks the children have grown in confidence and have started to gain more independence when it comes to getting changed before and after P.E.
During our lessons, the children have shown us once again that they are brilliant listeners and are super willing to learn. Our P.E lessons have started to teach the children about finding a space in the hall and what it means to be in a safe space. This means a space that where there is not anyone, or anything near them, which they could bump into when taking part in P.E. The children have practised moving around the hall in a safe way too. We have then also been playing the traffic light game, getting the children to practise different skills, such as skipping, hopping, jumping, and walking backwards as they travel around the hall.
