Reception had a great time at Colchester Zoo. We saw lots of African animals, including giraffes, elephants, tigers, a lion, ostriches, vultures, rhinos and zebras which helped to bring our cultural morning topic on South Africa to life. There was an interesting lesson from the experts at the zoo about the big 5 animals and we went on a ‘safari’ to find out more about them.
Of course the coach ride and the picnic lunch were also highlights of the trip!
