Yesterday, 6H dressed up as their favourite book characters for World Book Day!
During the morning, the class completed a reading comprehension about Roald Dahl and designed their own book tokens; as part of a World Book Day competition.
This half term, 6H have been working towards reading more regularly and quizzing their books with the hope that some children will reach the word millionaire status by the end of the year.
On the topic of reading, Year 6 have been reading Michael Morpurgo’s ‘Kensuke’s Kingdom‘ and will be completing a unit of work around this popular book, over the next few weeks.
