Year 3 Walk to St. Michael's Church

November 06, 2018

Year 3 had brilliant time walking to St. Michael’s church today.  We began with some geography and made sketch maps of our route.  We then did some art and sketched the church tower using perspective. Then it was time for some science when we looked at the gravestones for signs of erosion. On the way back we did some history when we saw the war memorial in Howard’s Park and discussed its meaning.

It was a busy morning.  We walked a long way but no one complained and the children’s behaviour was excellent.
